Jackal Come Lately: O's to .500?


Wouldn't this be something? Still, I contend it's an exercise in futility as long as you suit up with this gay ass logo. Angelos, bring back the cartoon bird and the knee high orange socks before I take a crap and fling it on your wanna-be cousin(or whatever my cousin's husband claims he is to you)'s front door. Possibly breaking even, how far out does that put us for making the playoffs? Seven years? I'll take it.

    The four veterans they're talking about hardly matter at all. Millwood eats innings but is mediocre to borderline crappy, Tejada is a little better, and Atkins will probably be terrible. Gonzalez should be pretty good if he's not hurt though expect a few game-losing home runs.

    But I'm still really optimistic because of the young talent: Wieters, Markakis, Adam Jones, Reimold, Pie, Tillman, Matusz, Josh Bell, Bergeson, Erbe, Hernandez, etc. Not all of them will pan out, but there is a lot of high-end talent now, which we haven't been able to say in a while. And occasionally it all comes together and you get a big leap forward.

    Surely lightning won't strike twice in the same division. I love your optimism. How's that healthcare coming along? Are the Democrats done jamming, cramming and slamming that deficit widener down our collective throats or what?

    .500 is all i want. Tired of being a minor league team. Toronto will suck more so there's that
