Ask a (Incredibly Biased) Jackal: Is Joe Flacco Elite?
I don't really give a shit about an answer to this question, but he's probably one of two or three NFL quarterbacks that can make this throw.
Joe Flacco has 613 yards, 5 TDs & 0 INTs (120.0 rating) in this year's playoffs. The average length of his 5 TDs is 39.8 yards.
Whether dude is elite (there are a LOT of good QB's in the NFL right now) or not is a moot point as far as this Jackal is concerned. He is good enough (and arguably more than good enough) to win a Super Bowl with. As long as the rest of the team pulls its weight.
ReplyDeleteExample) Last week the D did good. The O did good. Spec teams blew it and they still (barely) just managed to win. Next week against the Pats everybody, D-O- and Spec, has got to play perfect if they expect to win.
Shit, dude could've had a chance to win a SuperBowl if it weren't for some bullshit field goal kicker not doing his job.
Flacco has been doing his job all along, of this there can be no doubt.
Yeah so, in case you missed it, Fuck Chris Berman.
ReplyDeleteBHMF is the only sports commentary this world ever needs.
The troof, the whole troof, and nothing but..........
Actually, Chris Berman is one of ESPN's knuckleheads with enough sac to stand by the Dirty Birdy...
ReplyDelete"Watching ESPN’s pre-game “Countdown” show last Saturday, I cheered for Chris Berman. When they ended the show, the five hosts stood and predicted their Super Bowl champions. Tom Jackson, Cris Carter, Keyshawn Johnson and Mike Ditka all proclaimed. None mentioned Baltimore. Berman was last and stated: “I’m not changing my pick. I said Baltimore before the season started, and I’m sticking with them.”
I know some Patriot fans and they make a lot of noise. I will guarantee you, we are the last team they want to see right now. Guaranteed. Do not be denied, Joseph. Finish what you started.
Goddamnit I can't focus at work.
ReplyDeleteYou can't focus cause yo brain is filled up with ESPN-Countdown's nonsense. BHMF watchs that shit on mute. Allows him to appreciate/process awesome sports highlights while still maintaining valuable brain storage space.
ReplyDeleteBHMF has noted the Ravens playing the Pats tough in the past....hopefully this will be the case and hopefully Joseph will finish what he started. Granted the rest of the team does their part. Perhaps Ray-Ray's god will pull us through with another fucking miracle. Cause that's what we're gonna need.
I actually read that excerpt, I don't watch ESPN. Fortunately our office blocked that bullshit so even when I'm slightly inclined to log on to their webpage, it doesn't come up. Not the Jackals' Den though! Glad to hear you're in our corner, sorry about RGIIIsus. How fucked up is it that Rusty T is a hardcore Skins fan in the heart of Baltimore and I am bleeding Purple in Northeast DC. What the fuck?
ReplyDeleteYo Boogers, you been masticating on some Amazonian vines and shit?
ReplyDeleteAnd I quote (from comment labeled Jan 15, 2013 at 2:24PM): "Watching ESPN's pre-game......" then followed by the contradictory statement: and I quote, "I actually read...."
So which is it ninja? Did you watch it, read it, or dream it?
Concerning RTB's football confusion: it is completely understandable. Dude lived close enough to DC to make it his hometown football team and he never wavered. He has rooted for them since the beginning. Just happens to have moved locations in the meantime. Same goes for you, just in reverse. What don't make sense is people who root for teams from places they did not originate from and have never been to! That shit don't make sense!?! You know people like that! WTF??????
"Watching ESPN's pregame..." was the Raven's PR guy, Kevin Byrne. He writes a weekly column for the Ravens website. I cut and pasted his quote about Boomer. A) I don't have a TV B) ESPN is for skrimps
ReplyDeleteI have no patience for people who don't rep home team sports. I don't think RTB is confused, it's just fucked up how things work out some times.
Joe Flacco is what we call in football terms an elite "big dummy". He is slightly more aware than Kyle Boller. He also has a monster arm sometimes. He just makes poor football decisions sometimes and has a shitty o-line.
ReplyDeleteI wouldn't say elite qb, about middle of the road-10-15 guy. Yeah, he has played in playoff games for 5 years, but so what, if he doesn't win a SB after those 5 times, it doesn't matter as much.
Fuck the cowboys, and now my college man crush is taking over the Eagles- Chip Kelly, fuck them too, plus the NYG.
HTTR
Quarterbacks that I would take over Flacco-
ReplyDelete1. Manning
2. Brady
3. Rodgers
4. Brees
5. "Big Dummy" Manning
6. Pre-shanahanned/Tonya Hardingnd RG3
7. Rothelisberger (how is he not a Jew?)
8.-Tie- Matt Shaub/Jay Cutler
10.-Tie Romo/Flacco/ Matt Ryan
Bamm! Ready to have my own sportsradio show!
How about one of these guys?
ReplyDeleteEn route to winning his second Super Bowl MVP last year in the past five seasons, New York Giants quarterback Eli Manning threw nine touchdowns and one interception. That bettered his 2007 postseason performance in which he had six touchdowns and one interception. In 2010, Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers had a nine-to-two touchdown-to-interception ratio, while the New Orleans Saints' Drew Brees threw eight touchdowns to no interceptions in the 2009 postseason.
ReplyDeleteHahahaha. Suck one, RTB!
