Jackal Come Lately: Mike Green; Jackal After All?

Wow, I feel a little bit like the dude who dropped the 'n' word at a party when he forgot there was one black guy hanging out. I venture to say Mike Green is JAF. Empty netter put the Thrashers to sleep. Sidney, did you pack your lucky blankey? Fuck yo shit

PS LET"S GO CAPS!

Friday Hottie: Monica Bellucci

Friday the 13th

A dozen isn't enough for these jackals. Tonight the Washington capitals will continue thier reign of terror against the Atlanta Thrashers. Fuck ATL. Some things to keep in mind for this match up. The thrasher's best offensive player,Ilya Kovalchuk has just been traded. Also a goaltender you may remember by the name of Michal Nuevirth will be returning to the caps tonight after his brief stay in Hershey. Neuvirth has a .911 save percentage with the capitals. Thrashers blood shall stain the snowy streets of Washington tonight and the red shall be unleashed. We will be cruel to the Thrashers, and through our cruelty they will know who we are. And they will find the evidence of our cruelty in the disemboweled, dismembered, and disfigured bodies of their brothers we leave behind us. And the Penguins will not be able to help themselves but to imagine the cruelty their brothers endured at our hands, and our boot heels, and the edge of our knives. And Crosby will be sickened by us, and Crosby will talk about us, and Crosby will fear us. And when the Penguins close their eyes at night and they're tortured by their subconscious for the evil they have done, it will be with thoughts of us they are tortured with. ROCK THE RED!!!

Yeah Ken Pomeroy

The man predicts VT 74, UNC 68...
...and the score is VT 74, UNC 70. I give the man a break if his model didn't know that Larry Drew IIX was going to hit a meaningless shot at the buzzer.
Anyway, a solid win for VT, even if everyone's beating Carolina these days - still one game ahead of even in terms of home/road record. If we can beat Clemson on Saturday (if the game even happens then given the snow), we'll be in excellent shape for finishing .500 in the ACC. Maybe we could even make the Tournament this time!

In other news, the Terps picked up an even better win tonight, knocking off a solid opponent on the road, particularly with Mosley being held to one point while Derwin Kitchen was having one of those annoying "role player randomly turns into superstar" nights (29 points on 16 shots & 2 FTs?!). If they take care of business at home against Carolina and Virginia, they'll be 7-2 in the ACC going into the big game against You Know Who next weekend.
