KFTC: Global Warming Skeptics

You're right. This is totally normal.

  1. Oh lord BMR. You buy that govt propaganda hogwash? Ready to pay carbon taxes? We are coming out of an ice age, of course the planet is going to warm a little.......

Besides AU has had a lot of droughts in recent years, of course it is bound to flood sometime. That don't prove nothing man. KF Al Gore's pocketbook.

  2. I've never seen Al Gore's movie. I am ready to pay carbon taxes. I challenge you, bhmf, to provide one credible link(hell make it a post) to back up your argument that global warming is propaganda. And... go!

  3. I second that challenge! But before you get started, bhmf, you might as well review these two comment threads.

By the way, both of those conversations were in March. When I first started looking at them, I started with September, then went to October. I was sure they were around that timeframe. This has been a theme for me lately - past events being a lot longer ago than I realize. What the fuck happened to the last 6-12 months?

  4. I have seen Al Gore's movie and you can kiss my ass if you think you'll find me paying any carbon taxes. If you are so "ready" to pay'em, how bout you pay double and cover my carbon footprint?

Ask and ye shall receive. But then again it is probably just some partisan bullshit right? Hell what more proof do you need that global warming is propaganda than the government (and UN) is pushing it. What does the govt and UN push that is not propaganda? No nevermind don't answer that shit. Too big a can of worms to open here..........

  5. All I'll say is that I hope you're right, bhmf.

What if a carbon tax was made revenue-neutral via a corresponding federal tax credit or reduction in federal income taxes? After all, the point of a carbon tax is to disincentivize the release of carbon dioxide, not necessarily to raise revenue.

  6. If a carbon tax will put a stop to this bullshit I'm 'bout it 'bout it

  7. I didn't realize the video was set to a horrible Pink Floyd rip off, but the Boreal Forest is an awesome place and there is an indigenous population, hired at times to clean portions of the toxic watershed. Literally, the greater human good is at stake in this region of Alberta. Canada is still America's Gay Clone.

  8. Fortunately the propaganda machine was prepared for your onslaught, bhmf!

  9. bhmf, even if "climate change" is orchestrated(organized religion at least makes sense but who benefits from an enormous lie about global warming?!?!(thanks for the argument, Head)), wouldn't a carbon tax be a practical means of staving off fossil fuel depletion?

You are a diametrically opposed sawmbitch, bhmf. One would gather from your lifestyle, political/economic views and place of residence that you're aware our current course of action is negligent and unsustainable. I've gathered a lot of things about Tico, though and he's still and enigma. Can I script the two of you into a sitcom? Kind of like a modern day 'Perfect Strangers'(Tico would be Balki Bartokomous)?

By the way, South America is flooding too.

  10. Okay for starters a "revenue-neutral" tax on anything has got to be a joke right? Imagine it now, a big fund of carbon-taxes just sitting there not meant to fatten anyone's wallets, just kind of like a big non-profit branch of government. Kind of reminds me of Social Security and the promises they made not to touch that. Oops sorry about your retirement, we spent it on other shit. Our bad........

No new taxes period, that is where I stand. Can you understand that enigma Boogers? Taxes are bullshit, and they are just a way to transfer wealth from the poor and middle class to the rich. It is that simple. Unless it is a flat tax, forget about it. And I certainly don't buy that shit about carbon taxes ruining our economy that has nothing to do with it. I do know a lot about the Alberta Tar Sands and whatever you are thinking you can forget about it. The people of Alberta are already hooked on oil, I have seen it first hand. Everyone on the road in Alberta was driving a shiny new lifted pickup truck with big fat tires and all other kinds of obnoxious gadgets on it. I picked up some local newspapers there too and they are filled with stories about where they are going to drill next. Amen we love us some tar sands, eh???

Yeah hottest year on earth I get it. Things are bound to get hotter or colder rather than being static, no surprise there. Maybe we just live at a more chaotic period of history as far as weather extremes, who knows? Anyway I am really on your guys side here, trust me. I think my main man right here said it a lot better than I ever could have.

And if you gotta ask who benefits from an enormous lie about global warming then maybe you had better go back and study the pyramid that is the power structure. The elites, duh..........that much is obvious and don't ask who the elites are either. No a carbon tax is not a practical means of staving off fossil fuel depletion. Peak oil will do that for us. We ain't stopping till we burn the last drop. We are addicted don't you get it? Put a bunch of heroin addicts in a Boreal Forest and tell them under that forest lies vast fields of heroin and whaddya think is gonna happen next? Shit tax it if ya want them addicts will find a way to pay and either way we are gonna tap this bitch out!!!

Whatever you gather from my place of residence/lifestyle etc I am not sure how I would put it exactly. I moved up here cause it was the only place left in America I could pay cash for land and a house earning the lowly wages of a bus driver. I moved up here to avoid a nine to five, two jobs to make ends meet, work until you are seventy five existence. If I can grow enough food each year for myself or harvest it fishing/hunting then I really have no immediate need for a job. I hope to get there someday soon. Not to mention no state taxes, no property taxes, no building codes, no nonsense stuff like that. The scenery ain't too bad either.

  11. Oh yeah what if it ain't global warming causing all these floods and crazy weather, but instead our very own miltary/industrial complex???

  12. I didn't want to open the HAARP can of worms in the Den. These guys think I'm crazy enough as it is. The only one who can understand what I say is BabyFace and that ain't good.

A carbon tax and totalitarian regimes are two different things, just so you know.

We will continue this discussion at Mancation Unplugged. You'll come around.

  13. Uh oh. That's the third flooded region of the globe this week. HAARP is fucking busier than a mawlfucker.

  14. too much reading...

    poop.

PS wind turbines are about 12% efficient.

    Solar sucks even more.

Head invent some new sources of energy and maybe we are on to something.

Unless you all (me too) are ready to get rid of TV, cell phones, mp3 players, heat, refrigerators, a/c, medical appliances, hot water, light, etc. shut up or use less either way power ain't going away anytime soon.

    ReplyDelete
  15. Too much vagueness..................shit on that...................

BD2---wind turbines are 12 efficient compared to? How so? Solar sucks how? Using solar to heat hot water would be one of the single most smartest things this nation (or even a household) could possibly do. Seems to me we should be praying to a Sun god again b/c it is the sole reason we are here, and it is the sole energy provider for just about every living thing.........

Head, as smart as he is, ain't inventing any new energy sources unfortunately. Unless he knows a way around the laws of physics or something. Build any perpetual motion machines lately Head???

And what in God's name do you mean by power ain't going away anytime soon????? Crude oil I am guessing? Or coal? Or what?? What by Geezus do you mean by power??? And going away in what sense? Might not have to "go away" to become unaffordable. Might not have to "go away" to become a situation where energy returned on energy invested (EROEI) decreases to the point of no return. Just wondering.............

  16. Yeah, tell the guy that doesn't drive during the week, has no TV and recycles and composts more waste than he thows away to cut back. I'm the problem. How many diapers did you throw away this week from up on your high horse?

  17. Man BD2 actually believes in the bullshit he does for work. If that ain't clone I don't know what is... you sell the soul so they CTC homey but you don't drink the kool aid. Rise up Jackal.
