Brother Ali and DJ Snuggles

Yours truly was about ten feet from this same performance at Rock the Bells yesterday. I keep telling Jackals Rock the Bells is the fucking truth and Jackals keep acting like clones and not going. My real blood Jackals The Lynx and Babyface hold a brother down though. Awesome fucking time. Love y'all.

    Sweet. I heard Lauryn Hill's a fucking bigot. Word "on the street" is Akon approached her about doing a track on his new CD, but she chose not to acknowledge said request because he wasn't African enough. It was also discussed that Snoop-a-loop showed up late. Hip hop is the shit. Music in general keeps this jackal breathing. But why do hip hop artists feel they're entitled to treat the venue and paying attendees such as yourself like shit? That doesn't happen when rock, country or other genre artists come through town. That, my friend, is GAF. I know Brother Ali was front and center, but he's pretty underground and needs to be paid. Fuck Lauryn Hill. Snoop, get your shit together. People paid hard-earned money to you yesterday.

    I think the whole schedule got f'ed up by Lauren Hills crazy ass. Snoop wasn't late, he was just distracted with all the video games and 40s T Large bought him... I'm pretty sure when I used to go to HFStival acts would go on late, such is the life of a festival goer. I'm not really complaining, I had fun.
